Catch deepfakes, ghost candidates, and resume fraud — before they reach your team.
AI-driven fraud detection flags identity fraud, AI-generated interview audio, resume duplication across applicants, IP/location spoofing, and camera-replay attacks in real time. Stop bad-faith applicants at the door — without slowing legitimate ones down.
Voice cloning & deepfake audio detection in every interview

How Fraud Detection works
Every signal, every step — automatically.
RightMatch runs a layered set of checks across the resume, the interview, and the network signal — not just at submission, but continuously during the interview.
1
Multi-layered signal capture
Resume hash. Voice biometric. Camera frame analysis. IP/geo/VPN cross-reference. Identity-document optional. All in parallel, all transparent.

2
Real-time risk scoring
A composite risk score updates live as signals arrive. Cross 75% and the candidate is auto-quarantined — you decide what happens next.
Real-time risk scoreHigh risk
Low
92%
Score rises as more signals match the fraud pattern. Threshold trips at 75% → auto-block.
3
Audit trail you can defend
Every signal, every score change, every action logged. Defensible to your legal team, your candidates, and your regulators.
Audit log · per candidate
14:32:08 Resume hash match (0.92)
14:32:14 AI voice detected (0:14)
14:33:01 Risk score: 71% → 92%
14:33:02 AUTO-BLOCK fired
The fraud landscape changed. Hiring tools didn't.
Modern fraud requires modern detection.
AI-generated voices, deepfake video, ghost candidates, resume mills — high-volume hiring is being attacked at industrial scale. RightMatch flags it where it happens, when it happens.
🎤
Voice cloning & AI audio
11Labs, Resemble, ElevenLabs — we test every interview audio frame for the artifacts these systems leave behind.
🎥
Deepfake & camera replay
Frame interpolation, lip-sync misalignment, lighting consistency. Liveness checks at random intervals.
📄
Resume duplication across candidates
Hash every resume. Flag overlap across your pipeline AND across other RightMatch customers (privacy-preserving).
🌐
IP / geo / VPN signal
Mismatch between claimed location and live IP. Known proxy services. Tor exit nodes. All optional inputs to risk score.
🪪
Identity doc verification
Optional Persona / Stripe Identity integration for high-trust roles. Document + selfie match before final stage.
📜
Defensible audit trail
Every signal, every model version, every decision logged. Built to defend in court and to satisfy compliance review.
Fraud Detection · FAQ
Questions, answered.
Every flag is a signal, not a verdict. The composite risk score requires multiple corroborating signals before auto-block triggers, and you set the threshold per role. Single signals (e.g., a VPN) never block on their own. We also publish our false-positive rate quarterly — it's tracked at under 0.4% across high-volume customers.
Yes. Fraud Detection protects honest candidates from being lumped in with fraudulent ones, and protects the integrity of the hiring decision. Candidates can request a review of any flag through a built-in appeals flow — every appeal generates an auditable review log.
It's on by default for every interview but every check is configurable per workspace and per role. Some teams turn off identity-doc verification for entry-level roles, others require it for executive search. You decide.
Accommodations are captured in the audit log and inform the scoring. Re-records, extended time, and assistive tech don't trigger fraud signals — those signals are tuned for specific patterns (e.g. cloned audio artifacts), not for the way someone is allowed to take an interview.
We hash resume content and run privacy-preserving overlap checks across the RightMatch customer base — no resume content is ever shared between customers, only one-way hashes. You see a duplicate-flag and the count, never another customer's data.
Every signal, every score, every model version, and every auto-action is logged with timestamps. Our customers have used these logs in EEOC reviews, bias audits, and compliance reporting. We also publish our methodology and model versioning publicly.
Standalone detectors bolt onto a live call and watch for a second app. RightMatch runs detection inside the AI interview itself: the same session that asks the questions also tests every audio frame for voice-cloning artifacts, checks camera liveness on every frame, hashes the resume, and cross-checks IP and location. One session, one audit trail, no second tool to deploy.
AI-generated interview audio and cloned voices, pre-recorded video played back through a virtual camera, the same resume reused across candidate identities, IP and location spoofing, and identity fraud. Every flag ships with timestamped evidence a recruiter reviews before any decision.
